JNKZ

JNKZ is a Triangle-based DJ and an organizer of PERMISSION, a dance series rooted in ritual, communion, and transcendence.
He began DJing in 2019 after joining UNC-Chapel Hill’s freeform radio station, WXYC.

JNKZ finds his inspiration in synthesizing and advancing gay/queer sonic tropes, imbuing hi-nrg sensibilities and references across many genres with an emphasis on acid, breakbeats, and euphoria.
