Abhi Meer

Abhi Meer’s unapologetic performances reveal an infectious sense of discovery propelled by a protean mixing style. The 35-year-old Bombay native, an ethnomusicologist and former music critic is a feature at some of India’s most discerning musical events, has had two previous run-ins with Boiler Room, and has held down residencies and played club shows across India and SE Asia over the last decade.

He’s also one of the core members of online community radio and discovery platform boxout.fm, the founder of the anti-‘80s ‘80s club night Plunging Necklines, one half of infamous DJ duo 2Sensitive, and spends his free hours woodworking and crafting hot sauce. Abhi is currently producing his debut dance music album From Tourniquet To Talisman that is rumored to include “at least one techno diss track.”
